Welcome to the Web site of slightly demented author David F. Stern (not the NBA commissioner). As a Seattle advertising agency owner, Mr. Stern was responsible for the the creation and distribution of the Happy Face (the 1967 incarnation). Among Mr. Stern's latest projects is the completion of the Unauthorized Autobiography of the Happy Face itself, which documents the emotional trevails endured by this most popular of pop icons.
